Bill and the guys at Select Air Conditioning and Heating are my goto for service and maintenance. I’ve had them out a number of times since we moved here a few years ago. They are always prompt. They are professional and proficient. They keep me informed every step of the way. They always do their best to keep my cost down, give me options with clear cost estimates. My oldest unit went out this spring. Seriously fried. Bearings rattling and smell of burning rubber on the compressor. Bill gave me three estimates and helped me make the best decision for our situation. Then we had a severe thunderstorm that blew the capacitor on my other old unit. He had it fixed within a couple hours of calling him. The house was cool before bedtime.

After I was told my heating and AC unit need to be replaced at the cost of $18,000. I called Bill at Select and he checked out the unit and made some fine adjustments and told me my unit was good. Always pays to get a second opinion. I will use Bill again. Fair and Honest.

For example, Christmas Air 80 just for the trip 39 diagnostic ( they said if just thermostat we won't charge you above 129...but I knew it would not be just thermostat )

Earthwise 125 for visit 125 per hour!

Charles came out and within 10 minutes heater fixed. I was so pleased I went ahead and let him install Wi-Fi thermostat.

If you have ANY heating or air problems they are the ones to call Bar none!

Billy was a referral from another vendor doing some work on my home. I went to Angie's List to verify his work. All of his ratings were excellent, so we invited him to the home. Billy showed up when he was supposed to. Sat with us in the back yard and went through all the options and pricing. His pricing was very fair (I had several other bids) but he seemed honest, put in some freon for free to help us out for the next several days until installation occured. The day of installation, he showed up on time and brought 5 trucks over, with plenty of help. They did not damage the house and finished in around 6 hours. His workers and himself did not stop, very impressive. Very happy with Billy and his work. I will use him again, it is nice to deal with a professional.

We had three quotes for a new HVAC system since ours was original to the house (22 years old) and was failing. They were middle of the road in price but were by far the most honest, fair and knowledgeable. He could have easily recommended us replacing our evaporator coils that are 4 years old but he said we might as well save $2500 by keeping the ones we have since they are fine and use the new refrigerant. He took the time to explain each system and what he would recommend for our house based on the readings he took. He was the only one who actually measured our house and looked at our vents vs the others who just quoted based on what we previously had. On the day of installation, they were on time and finished the job in 5 hours. They were clean, efficient and professional. We had used them previously for spring and fall maintenance and we will continue to do so...and will recommend them to anyone.
